Kim Victoria Cattrall is an Canadian actor of the English nationality born August 21st 1956. Her most famous character was Samantha Jones, in the HBO series Sex and the City. The show has earned the actress five Emmy Award nods and received four Golden Globe Award noms. In 2002 she won the Golden Globe Award as Best Supporting Actress. In 2008 and 2010, she reprised her role in the film Sex and the City and Sex and the City 2. She is also known for her roles in the movies Porky's and Porky's from 1980, as well her appearances in Police Academy Big Trouble Little China Mannequin. Born in Sweden in the city of Skane, she was a model prior to her acting profession. She ultimately won her first prize in the Miss Sweden Contest. Then she moved to the US after which she started appearing in multiple movies in minor roles. In the movie Abbott and Costello Go to Mars she was recognized as an Venusian. Soon after, her appearance in Blood Alley won her the Golden Globe for Most Promising debutante.
